Hello and welcome.
My name is Alexander. I am engineer who left his career and became somewhat of a pilgrim, a spiritual and emotional coach, a poet, and a clumsy proponent of play. I really appreciate that you have found your way here. May you find amongst my creations something valuable that uplifts, expands and inspires you 😊
What is this publication?
Practically, this publication is creative writing, spoken word and the occasional piece of music, by me, Alexander.
Capturing perspectives and words that I find to be transformational and inspirational. Or playfully letting go into the improvisational and emergent. We will explore rooms of mystery, deep compassion, fluttering bliss, and peaceful presence. Often with a sprinkle of enchanting nature, sometimes vast and soulful, sometimes wonky or cheeky, sometimes reaching for the divine.
Always kind.
I think the word that might tie it all together is: Connection. An experiential sense of connection with life, with ourselves, and with each other.
And from this deeply felt dirt of connection, may our lives flourish 🙏
Why Subscribe?
Subscribe to receive what I hope to be essential drops of such connection. You can expect shorter form newsletters arriving every week or two ☔️, mostly with a reverberating voice-over or other audio component.
It is also not too late to catch up if you want to start from the beginning.
Who is Alexander?
Hey. I am the creator of WrestleWithTheSun. Swedish, 35. I used to be an engineer, a computer developer and mathematician, but 6 years ago I made a leap and quit my job to explore other dimensions of life.
Letting go into the wind: my pain, curiosity and passion has led me to explore places that before were too subtle and hidden from my view. How to be attentive, deeply understand, and facilitate connection between people and towards ourselves. How to… feel. Rebuilding a personal relationship with God and with nature. How to be with life gracefully. How to be wisely with the babbling brook of the mind. How to sit in silence.. in blissful silence. How to play. How to touch and devote ourselves to what we deeply care about. How to let go 🕊
Characteristically warm and thoughtful. And since a year or so: Characteristically bright and joyful 🙏
If you made it all the way down here, I think you might be my biggest fan 🥰 Thank you for appreciating what I do, and the heart from where I share it.
Until next time,
Alexander
