for me that is the key. To realize that getting up again, coming back again to yourself, is the work. The resilient muscle being built. For me that is the transformation, the remembering. To allow ourselves to be held is hard sometimes. we are always looking out, but when we allow it from within. that is everything. I think people miss that part so much in all the searching and striving. But it's the coming back.

The muscle of coming back to hold oneself: The compassion, the fullness, the sovereignty, the will, the love, the centeredness, the stability, the spaciousness, the awareness. And how as I develop trust in that muscle, falling becomes part of the play.
can't get up again if we don't fall. Round and round we go. I'm reminded of my sons learning to walk. We didn't scream- "you should be better at this! why aren't you running by now?" we went. "look at you! you'll get it, would you like a hand." Of course they all learned to walk. We all do. I hope we can all encourage ourselves as we go.
